Huh. We were worried about how we were going to afford the gas bill this month, but it turns out I have a credit instead of owing them anything. Nice~

Saw Cloverfield yesterday. It was really good, but it'd have been better if there was something explaining the monsters inserted in the end or something. Still, very nice. The dizzy spells actually didn't act up that much during the movie (it had horribly shaky camera work the whole way through), just a bit at the beginning and then we were fine. Till we started trying to move again...but that went back to manageable level quickly.

We've been getting spots of light before our eyes the past two days. Very rare, but they happened twice yesterday and a few times today but to a lesser extent. Not sure what to make of it...if it keeps up I may need to call a damn doctor on it again. I really wanted to give the trileptal withdrawal more time before checking with a doctor again but *shrug*

Now I'm kinda bored. Probably will go back to Okami or some other game, but I'll be around to poke on IMs if wanted. Hopefully if the dishes have dried enough I can get coffee too~ (Coffee apparently helps keep away gall stones. I had cut down a few months before the gall stones started. Figures, huh?)

I've decided that I hate DS games that require you use the stylus to move around/do most everything. My poor wrist/hand hurts like hell from too much Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I still can;t finish the game, but may need to stop it for a long time before going back to it ;; (which sucks, cause its fun)
I guess I still have the Digimon World games I need to finish that I can avoid the stylus on, and some random GBA RPG we picked up awhile ago. Dunno how much pain that will cause, since sometimes the mouse hurts too.
Damn you Nintendo. How dare you make games designed to torture me? ;P

Um, and...yeah...bored. Don't think I have anything to do on New Years Eve (Aside from work till 8pm or whenever they kick me out). It'd be damn cool to go out and party, but not that wise and we're low on funds. Oh well.

Now we have to decide if we want to go shopping now or save it for later. Need more food soon.

I hate television around christmas time. Its all xmas specials and shit. Okay, some of the documentary things on early Christian stuff are interesting, but the tired old specials are STILL tired and old.
I need more dvds, I think. I think I haven't finished the Zim DVDs...I could go to MST3k, but we've watched most of the MST DVDs we have within the last few months and I don't so much want to watch them again. Sucks.

Maybe I'll sit here and be bored and vaguely annoyed. I could pull out my DS again, but my hand was hurting last night so I'm sort of afraid it'll start bugging me again >.>
I want this chocolate sitting here, but my stomach hurts. Curse you hormones and body problems *shakes fist*

Maybe instead I'll just pass out for a few more hours. I don't remember eating anything, so we can probably lie down.

Work has removed my hours on christmas eve and christmas day. This is very annoying, since I wanted to work those days to get extra money and xmas was time and a half.
I also now have to try and pick up people's morning shifts next week to get 30 hours in >.<
On the good side, I got to go home early today without being pointed for it, and it appears that my time off for Thursday and friday before/on Ohayocon have been approved even though they were denied before. Yay.
Dunno if we'll make it to work tomorrow. We have an ultrasound on our stomach at 11, but they said it should only take half an hour, but if it takes too long or we feel too dead I'll get a note to get off then too. Would make it all week without really working...probably bad.

Malachi and I have decided we need to start getting up earlier and doing something to wake up our mind, because it gets really bad (The lightheadedness, that is) when we have to start using it at work. We have a book on quantum physics here...we can try reading that but I dunno if just reading will help. Should have a cliff notes for early chemestry somewhere with problems in it. Maybe we'll do that, or just get an early start on the math class that starts in January.

I got a free video game today ^^
We had to stop by the book store to get a present, and we got a coupon for a free mahjong game. Dizzy really likes mahjong, so~ its way too easy to phase out when playing it, though, so can't do it that much. But at least it was free and now gives us something to kill time other than just solitare.

Uh...otherwise...dead. Yeah.

For those people we said we'd get holiday cards out to...its probably not going to happen.
Sorry. Haven't managed to get to the store yet.

If wanted, we can try to send you some generic thing after new years/Ohayocon (read: probably feb or later)? I can't promise anything, though.
<strike>Jack, I'd like to send you a housewarming card, at least. And stuff to the people who sent us stuff.
Health Update

So we might have mono. Or might not. Because it was thought that perhaps we did back in High School (or was it middle school? Its uncertain).
Test results from the stuff done on Nov 16th are /finally/ back. Says no oddness in the thyroid other than it being slightly low (which is normal). Possibly oddness with zinc and some other stuff that went over my head because I don't have any medical training. Going to the family doctor (wee~ we're going backwards in the chain) tomorrow--which means missing work but it'll be fine as I'll get a note--and test results are also being sent to the bastard neurologist.
<strike>I'd really like to stay home today but no go.</strike>
Just leaving an update, because some people care. Still no fucking clue, though apparently Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a possibility again.

Crossposted from my LJ.

Edit: Staying home today. Probably a bad idea. Will beg the doctor for a note for today when we see him tomorrow...but he's usually pretty cool, so we should get one. I hope.

--Axel

Since I used to live in New York, and have driven around Upstate New York during the winter at least twice, I have been assigned to driving in the snow. Cause its really no problem for me, and I think its really pretty.
Except Dizzy still has panic attacks when driving in the snow, but they're much MUCH lesser than previous years. Axel's decided I do the driving and he'll take care of her. Its interesting, but it worked well enough today during the sudden snow storm. The snow apparently took the city by surprise, cause there were no plows out at 10am or so when we drove to brunch with the mother. Good thing we left early for that, or we'd have been late to work.
Of course we went home from work early...Dizzy started getting panicky about the possiblity of everything icing over by 8pm when we get off. They were nice enough to send me home early without getting in trouble...should be better tomorrow since we'll be more prepared for it. Also its not supposed to snow again till friday.
We're still sorta nervous from driving, even though there wasn't any trouble getting back home. Glad we left early, though, cause the roads were wet.

Otherwise~ I dunno. A friend on Axel's LJ made an art post, so I'm considering scanning a bunch of shit and doing an art dump, probably on the LJ. I also made myself a fursona cause I was bored, even though I'm not a furry in any way (though I do sometimes pick up on a tail and wings in system, but that's mostly rubbing off from Dizzy. And the wings are almost always in a weird attempt to keep balance). Also realised that we lean over when we draw, so the dizzy spells get worse so...neh. Not much drawing lately.
Axel's still a lot better than me at art. I think maybe I'll leave it to him more often, but I was bored today. Axel uses sketching as a way to pass time anyway.

Still no heat. Stupid land lady hasn't called back after we left a message. May just call the emergancy line, but its probably a pager--since we get so many calls at work from apartment complexs and thier emergancy pagers.

I wanna order pizza. But that's not wise. I have stuff to eat here, I guess.

...Upstairs neighbours need to stop making so much damn noise >.

Holiday shite

So, anyway, I got a few people interested in stuff so...if you want a card from us leave a note here with your addy (or if you have a post of your addy somewhere a link to it, cause otherwise I can't promise we'll remember). It'll most likely be generic 'Happy Holidays' shite, but its something.
Comments screened, etc, etc.

A lot of people are trying to send out cards to people...
Would anyone be interested in a card from us? I can't promise we'd even have the money for it, but I was thinking of doing it even though no one else is interested.

If you are, just say something and I'll see if I can handle it or not. Don't leave addys here, cause its not screened or filtered or locked or anything. And stuff.

I seem to be missing drama, but that's probably for the best. We're kinda messed up over here anyway. Doing slightly better lately, but...something. Work's been really annoying; they're changing insurance on Jan 1st so we had to recheck to see if all our doctors are covered (thankfuly they are), but pre-existing conditions won't be covered for six months. Because our condition doesn't have a name it may not be considered pre-existing...but it may get a name inbetween now and the 1st of the year. Doctors should have called us with the test results from two weeks ago, but we still haven't heard anything -.-
I'd really love to quit this job. Its crap. But its not worth it finding a new one and explaining to them that I might take a lot of sick days. Not sure how we're gonna get time off for Ohayocon, unless we just call off those days...which we might end up doing. Points will be down a lot by then.

Also, ah, stuff. I dunno. Emotions have been fucked up lately, but I think they're doing okay right now. Heat is still a problem, but we plan to call the land lady on saturday morning to have it dealt with (so we don't have to trap the cats all day). Space heater is nice but not enough and I can't keep it on for long at once cause there's something loose inside of it. I'd go find out what, but our screw drivers seem to be missing. As long as it doesn't burst into flames we should be fine. Cats have learned its not a toy, or just lost interest in it when we had it sit out for hours before turning it on the first time.

And, um...
I drew me as a rat. Or a wererat. Or whatever. My hair is annoyingly hard to draw.

Noticed I didn't have any pictures up on the desk at work after moving desks, and I wanted to draw something myself, so...whatever. Will probably put it up at our cubical and forget about it. But, whatever, sharing.

I'm in a rambling mood but all my chats are dead. Bleh

Hot damn, I'm sick again without the ability to call off work. Go me!
Actually, Axel thinks its hormonal. Maybe. Either way it sucks ass since we can't call off.

Do not know why I'm posting either! W00t! Perhaps the coffee kicked in. It was nice and warm though. Our space heater started making funny noises like something is loose in it, so we may need to get a new one or open it up (but the screwdrivers are MIA). I think if we get a new one, I'll just order the one Shiba linked us to or something.

This song always reminds us of one of Dizzy's RP characters (though she insists its not his song). He was sorta fun. Maybe we can contact Nova or Snowy and play him again, assuming we aren't too dead after work. I hope to get off early, but we can't get off /too/ early so...suck.

~~
I dunno! Lets do this stupid meme!
1. Reply to this post with five questions you want to ask me. They can be serious or foolish, I don't care! <strike>Get personal if you want.</strike> (You can get personal, but I may not answer. See below)
2. I'll reply to your questions on this journal or in a comment.
<strike>3. Do the same thing with your journal so I can ask you pointless questions.</strike> (Fuck that. Do what you want.)

Once again, I reserve the right to decline to answer any questions I want. And you can ask me, Axel, Diz or Malachi (but I'm not sure if he'll answer). Or try to ask anyone else, but I dunno if they'll be around...Fuf is about but I don't think he wants anything to do with this.

Kagi is doing laps again. Weird ass cat.

No, I don't wanna go to work ;;
I want to stay home and sleep. Or play with teh internets. Why doesn't that option exist for me?
hm...actually it might...neh. No. I need to save what little sick time I have for when I'm feeling worse. Argh.

I hates you work and sick. And doctors who won't write me notes for days other than the day I saw them. Even though I can't blame them for that.

Edit: Called off work after all. Was probably a bad idea, but...we did it. I dunno.
Can't nap, though, but at least we don't have to work. Also picked up the space heater, but its raining like crazy so we have to wait for it to dry off before doing anything with it.

The parents /do/ have a free space heater to give me. Its probably old and really dangerous, but its not like we're going to be stupid with it.
But we're too tired and bored and dead and cold to leave the house today. ...Actually, its not that cold right now. Yay.

I'll try to pick it up tomorrow before work. We're supposed to go shopping or something then, anyway, since we're running out of drinks other than water and coffee again.

Don't think I have anything else to say. This morning/afternoon was spent drifting between weird dreams and the waking world and its still kinda confusing. I kinda wanna go back to sleep, but we need to sleep tonight instead. Woo.

I can't figure out if the apartment people fixed the heat or not...its a bit warmer in the house, but its also a bit warmer outside. The work order just says that lit the pilot light, which I'm fairly certain was already lit (and Axel told the land lady such). But, whatever, I'll live.

I really want to go home from work early today, or just skip the whole thing, but both are really doubtful. Ugh. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will cover my shift and/or it'll be dead and I can be bored. I'm so fucking tired right now its not funny.

I haven't smoked since monday! I think that's good. We sort of plan to finish the half cigarette today, though. But its better than going back to chain smoking. I still plan to resolve not to smoke next year. I really like smoking, but we can't take it now.

I really don't know what all this fucking drama is, but I don't think I want to know. If we get bitchy at people, I appologise ahead of time. We're touchy lately and emotions are still fucked up. It means nothing.

I have a DS lite. Its nice and shiney and black. I'm still using the DS at work, though...perhaps a bit paranoid that someone will steal it.
Still, the lite is good and I love it.

I've been considering switching to my 'real' name on things. (Its not my real name. I'll never use my real name here. But the alias that'd identify me better; that I used through most of my, uh, 'last life' or whatever.) Not really sure if I want to or not, but I keep almost slipping at using it in chats. I use it in AIM chats for RPs, but they think I'm just a 'muse' or using the character's name because its easier. I dunno.

Also have discovered--because we're sort of taking up smoking but even I don't really want to--that apparently cigarettes make the dizzy spells worse. Its weird. But maybe good. My stomach and wallet can't take cigarettes for long anyway. But Axel and Dizzy and I have been getting cravings lately, so I bought a pack last thursday. So far only smoked half a cigarette...was thinking maybe I'd try to milk the pack till the end of the year and then stop entirely. I know I'm not over my cravings, and the stress doesn't make them better.
Mostly, though, I think we're doing a bit better on the emotional front. On the physical...its waiting again. Did a lot of blood tests last friday, so hopefully we'll get an answer from those. Its been over half a year since mystery illness started. But I don't wanna talk about that >.<

Only I have nothing else to add. Haha. Except that I'm going to talk to the land lady about the heat today, since the vacume cleaner we were promised before we moved in is finaly here to be picked up.
